Knight Family Reunion

Ok, too many pictures to post, so just a few favorites!! We had a great time at my cabin this year! I love spending time there with my family! Its so fun to see everyone, and there is no better place in the world than my cabin!

I, of course, had too much fun taking pictures, and Leah is my favorite subject!
Little girl on top of the world!

Leah and Toby are such good friends! I love that they are close! We had fun camping, the boys went fishing and shooting, we went on four wheelers, the girls made crafts (Brad was bumbed that he missed out on that) Leah ran all around the yard, yelling the whole time! I love being there! Unfortunately, there are some circumstances that are going to force us to tear our cabin down soon. Our cabin was built by my Great Grandpa, and I think I have gone there almost every summer of my life. I want Leah to know that place as well as I do. So we are trying to spend as much time as we can there! I love it, and I'm so grateful to have been blessed with such a beautiful place to be and spend time with my family!

Not all firsts are good

Most firsts are exciting, first steps, first words, first time on the potty...but there are some firsts which are not exciting...
The First Stitch!!

Poor baby! She's still learning how to walk, and she just tripped over her little feeties, and hit the table. Brad and I were in Jackson Hole when it happened, and Leah was with Grandma Bird.  I wanted to rush home and get to the emergency room with her, but I couldn't. My mom said it was so sad!! I think that it was harder on Me and Grandma than Leah!  I asked Mom to stop and get her some ice cream!
What a cutie! I hope it doesn't scar too bad!!

Jackson Hole

For our anniversary trip, we took the weekend and went to Jackson Hole! We'd been wanting to go and spend more time there ever since we went there for dinner with brads family.

We had tons of fun walking around the town, watching the shoot out & shopping (yup, brad loved the shopping) We rode on the Alpine slide! Brad raced down it, but I was a little more cautious.
We also got the chance to go on a rafting trip! It was the highlight of our trip!! We rode down the river, and then stopped for dinner, then headed back down to hit the big rapid!! The water level was so high, that our chance of flipping our boat was higher than usual. I was pretty nervous, but I made it through!
We also loved going through the Tetons with our camera. It was such a beautiful night, with perfect scenery. We drove up on tons of wildlife too! We had two huge bull elk walk right across the road! We had to get a picture of it, even though it was so dark!

It was so nice to get away and have some great adventures with my adorable husband!!
