Why do I feel a compulsive need to blog EVERYTHING? Knowing I’m just going to go back and scrapbook the same events, I feel like I’m doing it twice. Nevertheless, I still blog. . .it’s involuntary.

We had an amazing time! This cruise was a whole Ford family event; we were a force of nature. People were astonished that we had a group of 25! We had a great time on the boat! Eating is definitely the number one past time. I can’t believe how much I ate! Brad and I took the stairs the whole time–as if that cancels out the thirteen full course meals we ate! Surprisingly, I lost four pounds when I got home. I think it was a fluke, but I’m going to claim it anyways. We loved watching the shows, I even volunteered to be hypnotized! It was a very surreal experience, but apparently I’m a very good Shakera back up dancer, and I’m skilled at rapping in Japanese. Who knew!?!
I love dressing up for formal night. I don’t think Brad shares the same feelings, but I’m sure he loves walking around the boat with his beautiful, dolled up wife on his arm. (right baby?)
Pina Coladas are a favorite treat! Its easy to charge up that shiny key card with those drinks!
We loved movies under the stars, playing golf, and just relaxing out on the deck.
Getting of the boat and going on excursions is my favorite part!
Grand Cayman was a great Island. It was clean and comfortable. Our tour there took us to the turtle farm. They had a huge pool with lots of full size turtles, but our favorite part was holding the cute baby turtles. If you tickled underneath their necks they would relax and just let you hold them. We also went to Hell and back. Literally, there is a little place called Hell. Its a small clearing of jagged volcanic rock. It was pretty interesting, but the novelty lies in the name. I went to Hell. The last part of our tour was swimming with the sting rays;one of the coolest things I’ve ever done. The ocean was a pretty shade of dark blue, but out in the water was a strip of crystal aqua water. It was a sandbar. We hopped of the boat into shallow water where sting rays swarmed. It was kind of freaky at first to have the stingrays brush across your legs and toes, but you got used to it.
Roatan was one of my favorite stops. The hilly terrain was covered by lush green jungle. It was absolutely beautiful! We went snorkeling out on a beautiful reef. We saw lots of tropical fish and a barracuda *yikes* We even swam over a ship wreck! At the resort, there was a group of monkeys, who loved people and the peanuts they fed them. They climbed up on my head and enjoyed the ride! Once we got back to port, we had time to do the Zip Line. It was one of the coolest things I’ve ever done. They took us up into the jungle, and we climbed up a tall platform. They clipped us into the zip line and we flew through the jungle! There was eight to ten platforms and we zipped from one to the next. How amazing!!
In Cozemel, Brad and I got off the boat by ourselves and enjoyed the port. We shopped, and sat aside the shore and ate chips and salsa.
Princess Cays was a nice, relaxing port. We ate BBQ and awesome pineapple, and fed the fish from the dock.
I love spending time with my family no matter where, but man, they’re so much fun on the beach! :)
