Lake Shore Gardens

We've been working hard on our Lake Shore field. Brad made the best fence Utah County's ever seen. And we started growing our first crop of hay!

We've joined with a few neighbors to plant a large garden on our plot. I can't wait to see everything grow, but I'm a little nervous for the harvest. I'll need someone to teach me how to can tomatoes and freeze broccoli. :)

Isn't it beautiful. Ahhh. I love Lake Shore. It'll be even better when there is a house sitting right here.

Tea Party

I know, I think she's just about the cutest thing ever too.

I interrupt my hard work to bring you an exciting new addition to my world.

Dishes!

Seriously, aren’t these the most beautiful things you’ve ever seen? I’ve been wanting these dishes for years. I’ve gone into Rod Works almost every month drooling over them, touching them, talking to them (opps! One too far.)

I’ve finally worked out the perfect combination of coupons, gift cards and birthday money, and went home with my babies in hand!

Look at the detail.

*meep!*

They sit all clean and shiny in my cupboard, just waiting for me to use them, hoping for the perfect occasion.

Christmas time: red, green, white. Summer: green and white or yellow and white. Fall: yellow, red, white. Ahh! I love the combinations!!!

So, who wants to have a dinner party? I can’t guarantee the food with be any good, but the table setting will be beautiful!

P.S. A progress report on my secret project. I’m KICKING TRASH! I love it!!! Thanks a ton for your encouragement and positive vibes. I can already feel them helping!
