This is my new little niece, Ellie. She was born on February 17th, 2009. She is so darling! She was a few weeks early and she was so tiny! I'm so excited about our new little addition to our growing family. I love that that girls are are taking over in the family! Leah is so excited, but she hasn't quite grasped the concept that Ellie is no longer Brittney's tummy. :) I already love this sweet little girl, and I can't wait to get to know her better. 

No News is Good News

I feel like were all feeling this way, am I right? As a blog addict, I open my blog every day to see what everyone is up to. And everyday is the same...nothing! No one is doing anything because there is nothing to do. So it is with us. We are just biding our time hoping that Spring will show up. In the mean time, here are a few pictures of our lives lately...

Brad got this belated birthday present from his Mom. Its a minky blanket, like the baby blanket kind, but huge! We all fight over it, and Leah usually wins. I can't wait till my birthday so I can have my own! 

I've been trying hard to keep our girl lunches together with my Aunts and cousins. My sweet Grandma (or GG as leah calls her) gets so lonely, so we really try to get reasons to hang out together. This is Leah and Grandma Bird playing there favorite weird game. They hold their faces together like this and yell into each others mouths. Now I know where Leah gets her crazy side from! Thanks Mom! 
For Valentines Day, Carol usually makes King Crab legs. We weren't able to get together on the 14th, so to make up for it, she made dinner on Sunday. We had crab legs for an appetizer and prime rib for dinner. She felt bad because we each only got one crab leg...hahaha! Are you kidding me!! Look at the size of those things! It was the most fantastic dinner ever! Thanks so much Carol! 
Leah is getting really bored of sitting at home, or the sign shop, so I tried to take her out. Here is Leah and Toby at McDonalds. I'm running out of ideas for places to take her to play. Any one have any good suggestions? We are going stir crazy!!! 
I've been loving the mild weather that we've been having! Even today, we sat out side and let Leah run around in the yard. I hope that it keeps up! I don't realize how much more fun and easy life is when the weather is warm. There is so much to do its almost too crazy!! I hope that other people are making it along, and I can't wait to start getting your new posts!
