Working through the list

So, were staying busy around here, with the freezing temperatures, and icy snow. Honestly, I wish it would just dump on us, then we could go sledding and snowmobiling. It would be better than the clear grass, blue skies and bone shaking cold we've been having.
I guess I should be careful about what I wish for.
I just might get it.
In April.

So, going through our list, trying to keep me from hearing those disgusting words: "I'm bored!"
# 13 Have movie time in a tent.
I'm grateful Brad's such a good sport. He loves making forts with Leah and watching movies in them. He usually falls asleep. Honestly, I don't know how he can stand lying on the floor like that.

# 51 Go to the "spa" and get our nails done.
I even got to get my toe nails painted by a professional. *teehee* Red was a bad color to pick. My toes look massacred.

Leah's pretty excited about her "minnie mouse" nails. I painstakingly applied each and every dot. Don't worry. She peeled them all off in the bath tub.

A few things we've been doing, that I didn't get any pictures of:
#26 play board games
#29 play card games
#31 play on the computer
(which is what I'm usually doing, so it's a treat when Leah gets to play a game)
#50 hold "school" and teach Leah.
These are the words she can read: Leah, Dog, Cat, And, Love. We're working on The and Ford. Once she masters those, we'll add new ones.
#52 Go to lunch with friends.
We love getting together with the neighbors at McDs or Carls Jr. I like to sit with my friends, and Leah loves to run around.

Our bird feeders were a success. For days after we hung them up, Leah loved watching the birds peck the pine cones clean.

I guess this isn't really on the list, but come one, these little girls are too cute not to brag about. That's Ellie, my niece. Leah loved playing with her.
#7 Go swimming
This was a favorite on the list. Anyone who has bored little kids needs to go to the Lehi Rec center. It's a warm indoor pool, with lots of fun things, plus its a cheap way to get the kids out and let them be crazy. I went with two of my neighbor friends, so Leah had lots of little kids to run around with.

Leah loves her little friend Morgan.
So, it's been a great winter so far. We're busy with valentines stuff! I love valentines.
Stay tuned for a massive post about # 8!
