You Find Out Who Your Friends Are

Seriously. It amazes me.

Some friends have become even greater friends.

Close supports have faded away.

Surprising people have stepped up and done amazing things for me.

A man searched me out and payed me $200.00 that he owed

Brad for hay back in the fall.

There is no way I would’ve ever known he owed me that.

A salesmen Brad worked with found out about his death and went out of his way to help me sell my tractor.

Then there are other people–people who I thought were friends.

They’ve tried to sneak out of obligations. They’ve tried to take advantage of me. They've backed out of commitments they've made with us. They've tried to convince me that they had an agreement with Brad that I KNOW they didn't. It's gotten to the point that I've seriously been afraid of theft.

These are friends people.

Really????

It’s true. When things big things happen, you really do find out who your friends are.

I hope that when things happen to those around me, I can be considered a true friend.
