Spring

I'm done being frustrated by the late 'blossom' of spring. It's something I have to live with since Utah is and will forever be my home. I'm just grateful it's finally here!
My yard . . .
well not exactly the welcoming symbol of spring that I would hope for. So Leah and I walk around the neighborhood, admiring the daffodils and tulips and other colorful greetings that decorate their homes. Today we spent ten minutes walking around the Walmart nursery, just smelling and planning out the yard I hope for.
But here's the problem. I don't want to do the work. I just want to walk out in my yard and have a flourishing burst of colors and smells waiting for me. I don't want to purchase, plant and maintain. Can someone do that for me? Someone who just loves gardening SO much that they want to beautify the world--- free of charge? What about the cute little old lady who works on the side of canyon road? You know, the small hill that is always covered with color. Doesn't she want to enhance my part of canyon road, just as much?
*Sigh*
I guess that's part of life and being a grown up. I'm just getting that itch that comes with the warmer weather. I'm just going to have to suck it up, and get to work!!!
Happy Spring!
