All You Can Eat....Until?

We went out to dinner with TJ, Steph, Keynan, Sara, Matt, and Michele. We headed gto Magelby's for All You Can Eat Crab. (and boy did we!) It was so yummy.

But we didn't notice the "fine print" on the sign. After about 2 hours of order after order the manager came out and said "Did you notice or sign out there?" To which we replied that we did, "Well," he politely continued, "I am here to tell you that there is no more crab for you tonight." Our waitress informed us the amount of our order, and we figured that our table had eaten about 70 lbs. of crab. No wonder they kicked us out, I think the resturant lost money on is that night. It was a sucessful evening!

Leah's Peirced Ears!

I'm a little late posting this...ok a lot late. In early december, we finally decided to get Leahs ears peirced. She was so good, and unsuspecting. She sat on my lap while I held her arms down. The girls each peirced both her ears at the same time. She looked startled and sad and then, broke down in sad screaming tears. We calmed her down and then as a special treat, we took her to ride the train around Santa's village. She was so excited about it! It was all she could talk about. The next day, I went in to get her out the crib, and she said "Ears. Periced. Cry. CHO CHO!" Even days after, when she would get hurt, she would say "Ouch. CHO CHO!" ah...my smart little baby. She's been really good with her earings, and hasn't pulled on them or anything, like I was worried about. I think her earings look really cute !

Christmas Day

Finally blogging about Christmas Day!! It was a whirlwind of a day, full of presents, food, family, crazy mapless schedules, and fun! We woke up at about 7:00 am, and got Leah up. She loved seeing all the presents. She had fun opening them, but she would get so excited about the present, and wouldn't want to open the next one, (and trust me, she had a lot of them!)

Leah got clothes, a baby doll, crayons, magnadoole, books, a baby stroller, little quiet toys (I'm thinking church time), new flash cards, a princess car, a tinkerbell doll...you get the idea. :)
Brad got a new gun safe, a cooler for roping, a hunting knife, bino-covers and some new clothes. I got an I Pod player, some new jewelry, movies, music, and we both got a new laptop!! I'd been wanting one for a while, to take on flights, and road trips, but I'd really wished that I'd had one this summer so Leah could go out side to play, and I could still work! We had a great morning!
After christmas together we headed over to Mother Birds. She always puts on a great day! It was fun to celebrate together. It was great to have TJ, Steph and Toby with us too for the first time christmas morning. TJ has always been so nice, and offered to work Christmas day so that his co-workers who have young families can have the day off. So now, his schedule is changed, and he finally has a young family of his own, so this time it was HIS year to have the day off! My mom got the girls lots of fun toys, some of their own, and some to leave at her house. They loved the tent and their trampoline. I worked really hard and made my Mom a scrapbook of our family over the past year. She loved it!! I also made Toby a ABC's of the Gospel book. I was excited, and as I thought, Steph loved it more than Toby, but thats ok. My mom also got an exciting present...her new puppy!! He's a mini chihuahua, he's about 3 lbs, and fully grown. His name is Roudy. She was so excited! He shakes like a leaf, but is so cuddly!

After Mother Birds, we went to the Fords for lunch! Its was great to be with everyone! We ate tons of great food, and sang christmas songs. Leah had fun not eating any good food, but gobbled down a big plate of whip cream. She know Aunt Kami will give her anything she wants when she pulls her big eyes and pouty lips.

Leah loves her new car, and I'm glad that she enjoys it, but BOY is it obnoxious.
After THAT...we headed to Dad and Susan's house. We had a great time together, but missed Bridger. I also made my them a scrapbook of our family, they were so excited about it. I'm glad that I could work hard and make gifts that really mean something to my favorite people.
Yup, it was an amazing christmas. I hope that everyone's holiday was as great as ours. This last picture shows exactly how we felt at the end of the day!
