Happy Easter

We had a great Easter this year. On Saturday we headed to Uncle Randy's house. Dispite the soggy weather, the kids still had a good time finding eggs.

I was so glad that all the kids could be there! Leah loves all her cousins...even if they mall her a little bit :)

One of our favorite, yet more red-neck traditions: Shooting balloons off the back porch. All the men get their guns (don't ask me what type they are...) and we let balloons off one by one. The further away you can hit the balloons, the cooler you are! The little girls were not very pleased to see the balloons being let go, and even less happy when they exploded from the sky. :)
Randy and Donna made us an amazing dutch oven dinner. Ribs and potatoes..my kinda food! I love getting together up at Birdseye. We always have a great time there.
After Birdseye, we went to Mother Birds house for "breakfast" (breakfast food at dinner time) and a little Easter Egg hunt. I didn't get many pictures-I was very tired from the day at Randy's-But we had a good time. Toby and Leah love playing together, and we had a good time watching a movie together.

Sunday, the day of Easter, was a beautiful day. Church came early...too early as always..(but at least I don't have to arrive 10 minutes early to lead the music) But I was able to get this cute hair-do out of Leah :) We had a beautiful program. It was very nice to reflect on my Savior, and His love and sacrifice for me.
We went to Aunt Pam's that afternoon for dinner. She was nice enough to put on a little hunt for Leah, Brianna and Molly. It was small, but always great, and care free to get together with the Fords. Leah fell asleep in the car on the way home, so we continued to drive around so she could take a nap. We found our dream home. The house and the property is perfect! We only need to make a little bit more money...ok a LOT more money :) Ahh..one can dream!!
It was a beautiful Easter this year. I'm so grateful for my Savior and my family!!
